Privacy Policy — Cat Match

Last updated: September 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Cat Match (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information. Cat Match is developed by Denis Ivanov (https://gmaproject.ru).

Short version

Cat Match does not ask for, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no cross-app tracking. Starting with version 1.0.1 the app sends anonymous usage statistics (for example, which level was started or cleared) to Google Firebase Analytics so we can see where players get stuck and improve the game. This data cannot be used to identify you.

Information we collect

Stored on your device only

The app saves your game progress and settings (unlocked levels, star ratings, chosen language, sound/music preferences) locally on your device using the operating system's standard on-device storage. This information never leaves your device and is not linked to your identity.

Anonymous usage statistics (Firebase Analytics)

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data:

We do not collect your name, e-mail address, contacts, precise location, photos, or anything you type. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA / Android Advertising ID) and do not use the data for advertising or for tracking you across other apps or websites.

Firebase Analytics is provided by Google LLC. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own terms: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy and https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Third-party services

The only third-party service integrated in the app is Google Firebase Analytics described above. There are no advertising networks and no social-media integrations. When you accept the optional in-game invitation to rate the game, the operating system's own store rating dialog is shown; that interaction is handled by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies.

Network access

Cat Match runs fully offline for gameplay. Network access is used only to send the anonymous usage statistics described above (queued locally and sent when a connection is available) and, if you tap the optional “developer website” link in the settings, to open https://gmaproject.ru in your device's own web browser.

Children's privacy

Cat Match is suitable for all ages and is rated accordingly on the app stores. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The usage statistics we collect are anonymous, do not include personal information, and are not used for advertising, in line with children's privacy regulations such as COPPA and GDPR-K.

Data security and retention

Anonymous usage statistics are stored by Google Firebase on our behalf. We keep event data for up to 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted; only aggregated reports remain. Your local game data stays on your device under the protection of your device's operating system.

Your choices and rights

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes in a way that affects it. Any update will be posted at this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
